As a wine producer and connoisseur from Mendoza, staying at Del Fundador offered an intriguing balance of luxury and value during my recent visit. The staff stood out with their warm professionalism, especially Luciana and David at the front desk, who provided valuable local insights. The room, equipped with air conditioning and a spacious bed, was ideal for relaxation after a day exploring the vineyards.Although the hotel lacks extravagant amenities like a golf course, it compensates with practical offerings such as free Wi-Fi and a well-equipped mini-bar. The 24-hour room service was convenient for late-night cravings, and the breakfast spread catered to different tastes. The tranquil ambience by the swimming pool was a delightful way to unwind.Del Fundador strikes a commendable balance between cost and luxury. While not the most opulent option in Mendoza, its value proposition and attentive service make it a sound choice for those seeking comfort and convenience without breaking the bank.
